Description

Evolve is working with a brand-new client – an independent pharmacy chain in South Wales. If you’re looking to provide care and services for a closeknit community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Our client is seeking a GPhC registered Pharmacist Manager to effectively lead the team, grow services, and manage their busy branch in Ebbw Vale dispensing approximately 11,000 items per month.

This is a full-time permanent position working 35.5 to 42 hours per week, with an unpaid lunch as the store closes for 1 hour 15 minutes (1pm to 2:15pm). Store opening hours are Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm), except Thursday (9am to 5pm), and Saturday (9am to 1pm).

You will receive £26 to £30 per hour depending on your experience, and you will be supported by a close-knit team including 1 ACT, 3 Dispensers and 3 Counter Assistants.

Ideal backgrounds for the Pharmacist Manager
GPhC registered Pharmacist with some post-registration experience.
Accredited and experienced in providing all Welsh NHS Services.
Strong patient care skills, with a focus on empathy and communication.
Proficiency in medication administration.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
Provide expert advice on the safe use of medications.
Monitor patients' drug therapies for interactions and side effects.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and profiles.
Oversee Pharmacy Technicians' work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
