Principal Scientist

Evolve are recruiting for 2x Principal Scientist’s to join a global pharmaceutical company. You’ll be challenged with leading design verification, reliability strategies, and technical integration between drug and device teams. This is a full-time position based in Dublin; some travel will be required as part of this role.

Ideal Requirements for a Principal Scientist
A degree in Science/Engineering (Master’s preferred)
Experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device development.
Knowledge of design control requirement in line with FDA 21 CFR part 820 and ISO 13485 would be an advantage.
Experience in the development and validation of analytical methods.

Role Responsibilities for a Principal Scientist
Responsible for material assessment of device components including biological evaluation, extractable profiling and material certification.
Ensure all activities within the team are conducted and executed to the appropriate quality standards within the GDD Quality Management system.
Lead a team to plan and execute design verification and reliability strategies.
Provide technical support to manufacturing sites during filling and assembly process development by providing device controls and sampling plans.
