Our People.

Our people are our most valuable asset, bar none, and as such we invest heavily in their success:

• All new recruitment staff go through an extensive training and onboarding programme, both to hone and improve their skills and to educate them in the Evolve way of doing things
• After this initial batch of training, we provide a training budget for our team to facilitate their Continuing Professional Development and will support them to achieve external qualifications or cover the costs of professional memberships where this is appropriate for the business
• Following successful completion of their probation, all of our team qualifies for our Annual Bonus scheme, where if the business hits its annual goals we share a portion of our profits back with the group
• We offer 25 days of holiday, plus Bank Holidays, as standard, including a shutdown over the December holiday period, so our people can connect with their families and decompress
• We have an annual leave accrual scheme to reward loyalty, dedication and longevity within our business

Our Community.

We’re proud to be from West Yorkshire, so every year we support local charities to do the great work they do in our local community. In 2024, we supported Mission Christmas Cash for Kids Yorkshire Toy Appeal, donating a mix of unopened gifts and monetary contributions to help ensure no child in Wakefield goes without at Christmastime. We also donate a portion of our productive time annually to charitable causes of our peoples’ choosing – they bring the ideas and we bring the people power!

Our Environment.

As a tech-focused business, we’re keenly aware of the impact our business activities can have on the environment. As such, we take careful steps to ensure that we’re pushing, as far as we possibly can, towards net zero carbon emissions:

• We work closely with our technology partners and suppliers to ensure that our equipment and solutions have as small a carbon footprint as possible, and reduce our reliance on “new” technology purchases by sticking to a strict maintenance and testing policy for all desktops, laptops and peripherals
• We encourage our team and clients to work paperless, and aim to be an entirely paperless office by 2027
• We encourage recycling in our offices by providing separated waste containers where needed
• We keep our internal processes and use of new and emerging technologies like AI under constant review, ensuring that they are employed as efficiently and in an as environmentally friendly way as possible

Fundamentally, we believe that we all have a responsibility to leave the world in a bit of a better place than what we found it. If we all do a little bit where we can, it can effect an amazing change!
