Description

Evolve is working with a brand-new client – a well-established independent pharmacy in North London, dispensing circa 7000 items per month and providing prescriptions, OTC Medicines and health advice.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Pharmacist Manager on a full time, permanent basis to run the pharmacy and lead their team effectively as soon as possible. Ideally working 30 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday (9am to 9pm), and two Saturdays a month (9am to 9pm)

Ideal backgrounds for the Pharmacist Manager
GPhC registered Pharmacist.
Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential.
Must have experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Superintendent Pharmacist background.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist Manager
Dispense prescriptions per regulations and contracts.
Review GP orders, correct errors, and prepare medications (compounding, packaging, labelling).
Monitor drug therapies, advise on interventions, ensure accurate dosages, and safe supply.
Supervise and lead the pharmacy team and manage pharmacy operations.
Provide pharmacological information and counsel patients.
Comply with NHS and GPhC regulations.
Maintain controlled drug registers and oversee dosette box preparation.
Advise on minor ailments and conduct medicine reviews.
