A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading pharmaceutical company with an exceptional Ophthalmology product portfolio. Our client is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager for a national role, with a particular focus in the South or Midlands regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering field coaching and other learning initiatives that support business operations, especially within the Commercial sector. Additionally, they will design and deliver effective training programs for new hires as part of the Induction Programme.

Ideal Requirements for a Learning and Development Manager
Previous sales coaching experience within a FMCG/OTC/ B2B market is essential.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry may be considered, but retail or B2B experience is preferred.
Must be open to travel, as in-field training responsibilities are a large part of the role.
Proven ability to work cross functionally and with external stakeholders e.g. Supplier Partners, HCPs.
Experience leading a team of sales professionals is desirable.Role Responsibilities for a Learning and Development Manager
Consistent design of all training courses using best practice materials and approaches to training that meet the needs of the business and individual learning preferences.
Design and integrate with the Field Visit Process a feedback and coaching model that supports ‘on the job’ development of their BU Teams.
